1.
New block or flagstone paving should be swept clean, ensuring there is sufficient well-compacted sand in the joints. Existing paving should be pressure washed to remove all surface debris. If the area is contaminated with weeds & moss then it should be treated with PICS Fungicidal Wash.
2.
Shake the drum of PICSEAL to ensure there is no settlement
in transit.
3.
Decant the PICSEAL into a sprayer unit or clean watering
can with a rose attachment.
4.
Apply the PICSEAL at a rate of 3m2/litre on block paving
or flagstones. A two-coat spray application is required to fully cover the jointing sand.
5.
Remove any excess sealer from the surface using a flexible squeegee.
Any excess will be pushed into the jointing sand.
6. PICSEAL will be tack free within 3 hours at 20°C.
7.
PICSEAL will have cured sufficiently for foot traffic
after 6 hours and cars after 48 hours.
