PICS Colour Surface Hardener is used as part of the PICSPAVE pattern imprinted concrete system. It is a ready-to-use dry-shake material applied to freshly laid concrete and worked into the surface before texturing. Made with graded crystalline silica quartz aggregates, cements and a proprietary admixture package, it densifies the surface for added durability. The Colour Surface Hardener provides the project’s primary colour, with the option to add secondary pigmentation when a contrasting Antique Release Agent powder is used.

PICS manufactures a comprehensive range of acrylic sealers for pattern imprinted concrete, suitable for both newly laid surfaces and those needing refurbishment. We offer both solvent-based and water-based options in a variety of resin strengths, and our technical team is always available to help you choose the most suitable product. All sealers are supplied with the relevant health and safety information.
PICS also manufactures Antique Release Agent (RA), a pre-mixed coloured powder made from sub-micronic particles and designed to work seamlessly within the PICSPAVE pattern imprinted concrete system. RA ensures the clean, easy release of imprinting mats from the wet concrete surface and also assists in the finishing of the Colour Surface Hardener. When used in a contrasting colour, it creates secondary pigmentation in the lower points of the texture, adding depth, definition and a more authentic, natural appearance to the finished surface.
