PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PICS Low Solid Sealer (LSS) is a pre-mixed, colourless blend of high-grade acrylic resin polymers and aromatic solvents.

PURPOSE
To impregnate a PICSPAVE slab and combine the benefits of curing, hardening, dust proofing and sealing.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The slab must be fully surface dry after washing off (Protimeter 4.5 and below) and all traces of RA (Release Agent) removed by pressure washing and RAW (Release Agent Wash). Brush slab to remove any dirt or debris. Control joints must be cut prior to LSS application. LSS must be spray applied using a pressure spray unit equipped with VITON™ seals and solvent resistant hose and body. Apply in two equal applications, keeping sprayer head moving to avoid pooling. The first application must be brushed into the surface and allowed to dry past tacky prior to applying the second coat. Avoid application in strong, direct sunlight - do not apply if rain is likely within 3 hours of application.

APPROXIMATE COVERAGE
4 to 6m2 per litre per application - two applications required.

PACKAGING
25 litre U.N. 1993 approved drums.

TEST DATA
LSS has been tested by the TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) and certified that it meets the SRV (Skid Resistance Value) for all categories of paving for local authority pedestrian areas and when heavily trafficked is suitable for special applications where risks of skidding are high as laid down in the UK Highway Authorities Tender Specification. Copies available on request.

SPECIFICATION CLAUSE
"24 hours after the PICS slab has been washed off it shall be treated with LSS which shall combine dust proofing, curing, sealing & hardening and be TRL tested achieving an SRV of 44 to 65 in conformity with the UK Highways Authority Tender Specification. The LSS shall have been produced in minimum batch sizes of 1000 litres in accordance with an accredited BS5750 ISO9001 Quality Assurance System. All the work shall be carried out in accordance with the manufacturers current technical data sheet, specification and instructions for use by trained contractors duly certified and authorised by PICS or it's appointed distributors"

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Flammable liquid. Do not smoke. Keep application area well ventilated. Wear respirator when applying. Store in a cool place. Flash point 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup). Refer to the Health & Safety Data Sheet for further information.
